Certification Courses and PERC Training Accounts
Testing for certified courses will be conducted online during the class training. This provides the student with immediate results. Students should come to the first day of training prepared to log in and access their PERC training account. For assistance with existing accounts or to set up a new account, please visit the PERC Learning Center.

Gas Check ($60)
Class is held from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Gas Check program offers two types of inspections, depending upon your company’s gas check inspection policies:
1. Gas System Check which can be completed on the gas delivery system, including containers and regulators.
2. Gas Appliance System Check which is completed on both the delivery system and all propane burning appliances.

New! Mobile Crane Safety ($60)
Class if held from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A training program designed to teach crane operators, field technicians, and managers the best practices and procedures for the safe operation of a mobile crane in the propane industry.

OSHA & DOT First 90-Day HAZMAT Training ($60)
Class is held from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This is a very important new employee 90-day compliance opportunity. USDOT HAZMAT Transportation Safety will touch upon the requirements, but not the details of specific individual company’s written Emergency Action Plan and Security Awareness Action Plan. Other HAZMAT training will focus on the employee’s “Right to Know;” the risk associated with the hazardous material they work with; and the suggested safe handling procedures and personal protective equipment that are recommended as risk mitigation tools. In addition, proper labeling and inspections of containers and trucks; what to do when involved in a motor vehicle accident; drug and alcohol testing and reporting requirements; CMV (Commercial Motor Vehicle) Driver requirements, inspections and cylinder inspections. This training, when combined with an effective on-the-job training program and ongoing safety training regiment, will assist with meeting the training requirements of the Hazardous Materials Regulation.

New! Propane Manager Course ($125)
Class is held from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
This new course will provide methods and strategies for managers and owners to improve their management and leadership skills. The course will provide content that will benefit interactions with employees and customers and will include:

*Compliance for all managers including DOT/PUCO inspections, Tier 123 reporting, security plans, protective equipment, OSHA, hazard communication and fire safety analysis
*Company culture, successful communication and management styles, and workforce concerns will be addressed.
*Assistance with expectations evolving into reality including methods of providing evaluations, conflict resolution, and other difficult
conversations.
*Specific workforce challenges of retention, recruiting, onboarding and termination will be presented.
*Discussion in areas of concern and success within the leadership position included.
*Methods of how to successfully handle price issues and communicate company value.
*Discuss contingency planning and management succession processes.

Attendees are asked to bring a laptop or tablet with them to view course materials online.

The registration fee includes course materials, lunch and refreshment breaks. A refund less a $25 administrative fee will be provided for cancellations received at least 7 days in advance. Attendance at all classes is by PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY. Classes size is limited.
